Mount Farm
a.k.a Shirley Mount. Sold at auction with 18 acres in 1896, by Daniel Rushton in 1900 and again in 1930 for £1,100.The 1891 census shows Letitia Gillman living there and the 1901 census shows John Kent in residence.
In 1921, Frances Chadwick, of Clubwood Lodge, married Charles Kent of the Mount. Mr J Brown of the Mill was best man.
William Redshaw was farming there according to the 1939 Register.
