Titterton, Shirley
10 October 1893 – 1 December 1973
Son of Thomas and Jane and had four siblings: Thomas (b. 1884), Charles (b. 1885), Arthur (1887 – 1867) and Philip (b.1891).While living on Derby Lane he was educated at Shirley National School between 21 Jul 1897 and 19 Nov 1907. By 1911 he was a cowman on Charles farm, Osmaston.
In 1916 he was serving in the Kings Royal Rifle Corps & Labour Corps (#16295 & 590364) and was discharged in 1916.
He married Eleanor M Saunders at Lichfield 1 May 1925.
