Gilman, George

13 November 1893 – 24 September 1918

Son of Thomas and Ann Gilman (née Fearn) he had three siblings: Elizabeth (b. 1890), James (b. 1888) and Edith (b. 1895). he was educated at Shirley National School between 24 Oct 1898 and 26 Jun 1908 where he achieved Level 6. By 1911 he was working as an estate labourer living on Derby Lane.
