New Ticehurst Vicar Appointed
The new vicar of Ticehurst will be the Rev. Frank Joseph Law, at present the Rector of Brailsford in the diocese of Derby. This was announced at morning service at St. Mary's church, Ticehurst, on Sunday.Mr. Law has been Rector of Brailsford since 1946, and was formerly vicar of Sutton on the Hill, Derby. He hopes to take up his duties at Ticehurst before Christmas.
His predecessor, the Rev. O. A. S. Edwards, who was vicar of Ticehurst for 14 years, left last week for his new living at Hove.
