Ittingston Farm
A small holding of 20 acres on Mill Lane. John and Ann Yeomans were recorded on the 1841 census. In 1871 it was called Shirley Cottage. In 1872 widowed Ann remarried and moved to Brailsford. Her nephew, Timothy Gelsthorpe moved in only to be rejoined by Ann when her second husband died in 1886. The Farm was sold in 1989 and Timothy was living in Derby in 1901. In 1904 William Harrison was declared bankrupt there. The Leslies were resident in 1911. The photograph is of decorative brick work at the end of an outbuilding.
