SHIRLEY
PRESENTATION.—On Monday last, the members of the Shirley cricket club, sixteen in number, waited on the Rev. E. W. Michell at the vicarage, to beg the acceptance, by himself and Mrs. Michell, of a beautiful view of Osmaston Manor. The picture is 16 inches by 14 inches, andwas chosen as a fitting token of the mutual Christian regard known exist between the families at the vicarage and the Manor. The presentation wasmadeby Heber Dale, prefaced by a few words in respectful acknowledgement of Mr. Michell's kindness to members of the club.
