Osmaston, Yeldersley, Shirley & Wyaston Home Guards
In 1915 a home guard unit of the Derbyshire Regiment of Home Guards was formed for Osmaston by Colonel Sir Peter Walker, Bart., Mr. May (secretary and treasurer), Rev. H. V. Titmuss, Rev. R. Coates Mr. J Hall, and Mr. Watkinson (parish chairman).
