The death occurred on Good Friday, in London, of Miss Clara Lavinia Corfield, eldest daughter of the late Rev. Frederick Corfield, formerly rector of Shirley and Heanor. Miss Corfield, who was aged 70 years, was for some time resident with her mother in Derby, and afterwards removed to Heanor. Writing under the name of "Corna Temple," she was the author of several books.
