SHIRLEY
The evening school held during the past winter closed on March 11th. It has been much appreciated by the students, who have attended from a wide radius, and done some really creditable work. The interest they have taken in their work is shown by the fact that, of 21 students on the registers, two have made every possible attendance, while seven have made 85 per cent of the possible. To these students prizes of books, etc., have been awarded, and special prizes have been given by the head-teacher, Mr. A. Y. Jordan, to the two mentioned. A similar course will probably held next year.
