ASHBOURNE
ACCIDENT TO A FARM LABOURER.— Hy. Goodall, aged 24, a farm labourer, of Shirley, employed on the Osmaston Manor estate, near Ashbourne, was admitted to the Royal Infirmary on Tuesday suffering from injuries to his face which he received from a poacher's alarm gun which he accidentally exploded. He was mowing thistles in a field when he caught his foot in one of the wires connected with the weapon. He will be detained in the Infirmary for some time to come.
