Normanshaw, Samuel

1828 –

In 1851 and 1861 he was listed as an agricultural labourer. By 1871 he was a farmer of 11 acres with a labourer and had 38 acres in 1881. Married in 1850. Born in Middleton. From the notice in the Derby Mercury of 1889, he'd got himself in a financial mess. He also got done for stealing fowl later in the year. Unfortunately the press report is almost illegible.
