ASHBOURNE
PETTY SESSIONS, Saturday.— Before Mr. C. B. Kingdon, Mr. W. B. Badnall, and Mr. J. Simpson.
John Casey and Jabez Yeomans, who are employed by Mr. Massey, of Shirley Lodge, were summoned for taking fresh water fish during close time on the 16th inst.— It was proved that the men were telling for fish in Shirley brook, and had two small roach in their possession.— Fined 1s. each and costs.
