BAPTISM OF ADULTS.— An interesting and rather unusual ceremony was witnessed in the church on Sunday evening last, when the vicar administered the sacred rite of Holy Baptism to three adult members of the congregation. The baptism took place after the 2nd lesson during divine service, and the sermon afterwards dealt with the origin and nature of the sacrament and the privileges and duties of the baptised.
