PETTY SESSIONS

Thomas Bold, of Shirley, beer-seller, was summoned by police constable Shaw for selling beer and permitting it to be drunk on his premises, on the 14th inst.— The police constable stated that he visited defendant's house on the 14th inst., and found four men in the house with a quart of beer on the table before them; two of the men were drunk.— Defendant said that it was the first time he had allowed drinking in his house.— Fined £2 and costs.[Before J.
