CRICKET
LANGLEY v. SHIRLEY.— This match was played on the 17th of October by the pupils of the Rev. J. Barton and the Shirley boys, on the Langley ground. The batting of Michell and Palmer on the Shirley side, and the bowling of Fuller on the Langley side were good. The game was decided by the first innings, as it was too late to finish.
