ASHBOURN
PETTY SESSIONS, SATURDAY, April 30.— [Before John Goodwin Johnson, Esq.] — Thomas Copestake, of Shirley, farmer, was summoned for discharging Margaret Smith from his employ without paying her the wages due to her. From the evidence adduced it appeared that the complainant had left her place without sufficient cause.— She was dismissed from her service, and the defendant was ordered to pay her wages. deducting half-a-crown, and leaving her to pay the costs.
