Trespass in Pursuit of Game.
Samuel Wood was convicted in fine and costs, amounting to £2 4s. 6d., for having been found in pursuit of game in a field in the occupation of Mr. Bonsall, of Shirley, on the 15th November last.—The summons was issued at the request ot Thomas Cook, gamekeeper to F. Wright, Esq., Osmaston Manor.—Two witnesses distinctly swore that they saw defendant in the field at 9 o’clock in the morning on the day question.—Defendant denied the charge in toto, and said he had witnesses to prove it, but unfortunately did not produce them.
