VALUABLE FREEHOLD COTTAGES AND GARDENS,
TO BE SOLD BY AUCTION,

At the Saracen’s Head Inn, Shirley on THURSDAY, the 17th of May,1888, at 5 for 6 o'clock in the evening, in one lot, or such lots, as shall be agreed upon at the time of the sale, and subject to conditions of sale to be then read:—
All those THREE valuable freehold COTTAGES, situate at Shirley in the County of Derby, with the stable, cart-shed, and out offices thereto belonging; and also the ORCHARD, and GARDENS thereto adjoining, containing altogether three roods or thereabouts, the whole lately being in the possession of Mr. George Howard.
The orchard and gardens are well stocked with choice fruit trees, and there is an excellent supply of water on the premises. The premises adjoin the road leading to Shirley Mill, and property belong to Sir A. B. Walker, Bart., Mr Jackson and Mr. Osborne.
