DRUNK IN CHARGE — Walter Normanshaw, a farmer, of Shirley, was charged in custody with being drunk in charge of a horse and cart at Markeaton on December 19th. — Police Constable Bennett gave evidence and the prisoner was fined 10s and costs.© British Newspaper Archive
