SUTTON WEDDING
MISS A. CRESSWELL AND MR. T. TAYLOR
Miss Annie Cresswell, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Cresswell, of Etwall, was married at Sutton-on-the-Hill Parish Church to Mr. Thomas Taylor, youngest son of Mr. S. Taylor, of Blake House, Shirley.
Given away by her father, the bride wore full length gown of satin beanie with hat and shoes to match, and carried bouquet of carnations. Leaving the church the bride was presented with silver horseshoe by Audrey Goodall.
The bridesmaids, Miss Mary Cresswell (sister of the bride), and Miss Edith Tavlor (sister or the bridegroom), wore pale mauve dresses, with gold shoes and caps, and carried bouquets of carnations. Mr. John Taylor, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man. After the ceremony more than 40 guests attended a reception the brides home.
