NEW POLO CLUB GROUND ACQUIRED AT SHIRLEY
Formed two months ago, the Meynell Polo Club has acquired ground at Shirley, where matches will played each week during the summer. Hours play have been fixed: Monday and Wednesday at 4-30, and Saturday at 3.30 p.m. The club will be associated with tournament which being arranged by Sir lan Walker Osmaston Manor August. A match with the North Staffs Polo Club is also planned. Captain R W. Verelst, of Sudbury, the secretary of the new club, told ''Telegraph" representative to-day that had been arranged for polo matches continue at, Shirley until the end of August. Admission to the ground would be sixpence on ordinary days. Play would take place on three days each week, weather permitting.
