FATAL COLLAPSE SHIRLEY POULTRY FARMER'S DEATH
The District Coroner (Mr. R. W. Sale) has decided that an inquest will not necessary on Samuel Wood (66), a poultry farmer, of Rhode Hurst. Rough lane, Shirley, who collapsed and died suddenly on his farm on Wednesday, Mr. Wood left his house to go and feed the chickens, and later was found by his wife lying on the floor of a shed. A doctor was summoned, but Mr. Wood was found to be dead. Death was due to natural causes.
