NAMED AS PRISONER
Driver Alfred George William Forman (23), of the Royal Army Service Corps, whose father is groom at Shirley Common Stud Farm, Brailsford, is named from an enemy source as a prisoner of war, captured in Africa. "It is news to me," commented Mr. Forman when Telegraph representative told him. Earlier in the day he received a letter from his son. It was written early last month, during what he described as "a pretty tough time." Driver Forman, who worked a groom with his father, has been in the Army for more than two years. His only brother, Private Basil Walter Forman (22), of the Durham Light Infantry, has been a prisoner of war since Dunkirk. His four sisters are munitions work.
