Mr. H. D. HOLYOAK is honoured with instructions from Mr Twigge (who is retiring) to SELL by AUCTION, on THURSDAY, the 9th day of November, 1882, the whole of this truly valuable Live FARMING STOCK, comprising 13 choice short-horned in-calf Dairy Cows, fresh barren ditto, 6 valuable in-calf Heifers, 5 ditto ditto Stirks, 20 choice black-faced ewe and wether lambs, 4 choice strong pedigree Gilts, 3 fat pigs, 13 young geese, 2 store ditto, quantity of game and first class other Fowls, valuable grey cart mare, in-foal, powerful and steady worker; excellent half-legged black mare, suitable for any kind of work, strong steady worker, and perfectly quiet; promising grey cart filly, rising three years old; ditto brown filly, rising three years old; ditto iron-grey colt, rising two years old; handsome roan filly, rising two years old. The grass on the above farm will be sold, also quantity of excellent Champion potatoes, in lots to suit purchasers.
The AUCTIONEER can with confidence recommend the above valuable stock. The cows are young, deep milkers, and on early note (three near to hand). The young stock are coloury, plenty of bone, and full of hair. The pig are of first-class quality, and nice weights. The age, pedigree, and further particulars of the horses will be given at the time of sale.
