THE SARACEN'S HEAD INN, SHIRLEY, NEAR BRAILSFORD AND ASHBOURNE.
MR. H. D. HOLYOAK is honoured with instructions from Mr. Twigge, to SELL by AUCTION, on THURSDAY, the 19th day of December, 1878, the whole of the valuable LIVE FARMING STOCK, comprising 25 choice short-horned incalf and barren Dairy Cows and Heifers (two of which are at hand), newly carved ditto and calf, 2 year old bull, yearling, cow-calf, 16 in-lamb ewes, suitable to kill or for store; 10 ewe and wether hogs, 3 fat pigs, 2 useful brawns, valuable chestnut hog, quiet to ride or drive; brougham horse, rising four years old, 17 hands high; useful mare, aged; capital black colt, 3 years old, suitable for harness or other purposes; promising black colt, rising 3 years old, by "Sweet William" &c., which are removed for convenience from the Big House Farm, Hognaston.IMPORTANT SALE OF VALUABLE LIVE FARMING STOCK,
