The marriage took place on April 2 at All Saints' Church, Brailsford, between Mr. Charles Weatherby, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Weatherby, of Croughton Lodge, Brackley, Northamptonshire, and Miss Susan Ley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Ley, of Shirley House, Brailsford, Derbyshire. The Rev. J. M. Robson officiated.
The bride was given away by her father, and the bridesmaids were Miss K. Player, Miss J. and Miss S. Weatherby (twin sisters of the bridegroom). and Miss J. and Miss D. Winter. Mr. David Weatherby was best man.
A reception was held at Shirley House and the honeymoon is being spent in Spain.
