On the premises of Mr. N. C. GELSTHORPE, Shirley Mill, near Ashborne, Derbyshire, on MONDAY NEXT. February 21st, 1842; free from Auction Duty; Sale to commence at eleven o'clock;
COMPRISING one capital short-horned dairy cow, strong useful dark brown, two fat pigs, quantity of poultry, new 6 inch waggon with wrathes, .... quantity, new bricks, quantity oak, ash , elm, and other poles; two stacks of oats, one stack of beans, two parts of stacks of hay, about 12 tons; set new shaft tackle, quantity old wood, sack bags, &c., &c.
The HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE comprises five sets carved four-post and tent mahogany bedsteads, handsomely clothed in rich figured silk, damask, and drab moreen; three white goose feather beds, with bolsters and pillows; eight pair blankets, sheets, bed-room carpeting, large Wellington swing dressing glasses, sets mahogany and oak circular fronted chests of drawers, painted wash and dressing tables. cane and rush seated chairs, blue and white china chamber sets, moreen and damask window curtains, to match bed furniture, with French bands; two sets Spanish mahogany loose hair seated Trafalgar chairs, with arms to match; two capital double headed Grecian couches, in Spanish mahogany frames, covered in satin hair, with loose curled hair mattresses and pillows; set mahogany dining tables, mahogany and oak Pembroke and screen tables, Kidderminster carpets and hearth rugs, capital eight-days clock, in Spanish mahogany case; bronze fender, sets steel fire irons, five 12-gallon barrels, four strike mash tub, wort tubs, &c,; together with the whole of the useful kitchen requisites, glass, china, &c., &c.
