A farm servant. Born in Dalbury Lees. By 1909 he was working as a road man for the council. Elizabeth Bowers, from the workhouse was his housekeeper. She nicked his fortnightly pay cheque of £1 14s. and was rightly hauled before the beak who imprisoned her for a month.
