Normanshaw, Samuel

4 May 1867 – 24 January 1900

Son of Samuel and Jane. Born in Shirley. Attended the National School commencing May 1870. Married Mary Ann Elizabeth Gilman in 1891. Had a bit of a do with Philip Lemon in the pub in 1882. Fined 5s. In 1893 he caught his wife in flagrante delicto with a farmhand and divorced her. Appointed parish overseer in 1894[1].
