Bourne, Peter

(1851 – 11 April 1918)

Born in Bunbury, Cheshire. A farmer at Shirley Hall. He was a councillor on Ashbourne Rural District Council at his death in 1918.

His brother, John, lost a thumb when his gun exploded when they were out shooting together in Shirley, 1858.

In 1917 he was selling seed wheat at £4 per qr.
