Goodall - Shirley Hall Farm (Household)

Already resident in the village, they move into Shirley Hall Farm between 1835 and 1859. By 1871 they are living at Wootton.

1841 census
Headed by William (50) and his wife Mary (40). The children were Hannah (16), Elizabeth (14), Ann (11), Sarah (9), Mary (7), William (5), John (3) and Martha, eight months.

1846
Hannah and Mary junior die.

1847
Martha dies.

1851 census
William (60), Mary (49), Ann (21), Sarah (18), William (15), John (12), Charles (8) and Emma (5). Arthur Jefferey and William Kirkland were farm servants.

1858
The Farm was sold at auction. William was farming the following:
