MR. PALING will SELL by AUCTION, on the premises of Mr. Joseph Wibberley, as above, on MONDAY, the 15th day of February, 1875, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, the whole of his LIVE and DEAD FARMING STOCK as follows:—
8 Superior incalf cows, at early note,
2 Ditto, at profit,
1 Barren Cow,
1 Milk ditto,
4 Yearling Calves,
1 Rearing Calf,
15 Wether Hogs,
6 Store Pigs,
1 Inpig Sow,
1 Capital Infoal Mare, by Burrows Blood Horse, "Vociferator",
Goose and Gander,
Minor and other IMPLEMENTS of INDUSTRY, a portion of the DAIRY UTENSILS and 5 cwt. of CHEESE.

Five hundredweight of cheese is enough for 3,386 slices of cheese on toast. According to the Farmer's Magazine of that year cheese was fetching between 58 and 65 shillings at the Ashbourne cheese fair.
