Derby Mercury, October 7, 1840, Issue 5648. (Document)

INQUESTS BEFORE MR. HENRY MOZLEY, JUN. CORONER.— And on Saturday last, at Peat Hayes, in the parish of Shirley, on James Dale, a child 4 years old, who died on Thursday. in consequence of his clothes having caught fire. His mother, as in the preceding case, was absent at work. Verdict, "accidental death".
