PARISH MEETING

On Wednesday, 16th inst., a parish meeting, convened for the purpose of appointing various committees, was held in the school. The meeting was well attended, and was presided over by the vicar (Rev. R. E. Coates). The first item on the agenda was the election of two church representatives to attend the ruridecanal conference, and for this purpose Messrs. Percy Bourne and F. Atkins were appointed. Messrs. Jos. Brown, Peter Bourne, Jos. Chadfield, and W. Normanshaw, were nominated to serve on the committee.
